Aromatics
Red plum and blackberry with black pepper, smoked meats and subtle violet notes.

Palate
Supple and finely structured, with dark berry fruit, spice and fine chalky tannins. Fresh acidity keeps the wine lifted and composed.

Finish
Long and dry, with lingering pepper, dark fruit and a gentle smoky character.

Winemaking & Region
Heathcote fruit traditionally fermented on skins, gently pressed and matured in seasoned French oak.

Food Pairing
Chargrilled lamb, duck, game meats, mushroom dishes and slow-cooked winter fare.
